ABOUT ME

Hi! My name's Jynx! I'm a 22 year old furry artist from Wyoming. My primary interests are zoology, medicine, and psychology. I psychoanalyze fictional characters a lot.

I'm the host of what I suspect to be a dissociative system. We're not completely sure if that's what's going on, but it's easier on us to assume that's what's going on. Collectively we go by he/they, individually I go by he/him (as does Rex, our other headmate that's active online).

My hyperfixations fluctuate a lot, but currently my interests are Ace Attorney, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Hamilton! I've also been on a Mayday: Air Disaster kick lately.

I suffer from Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which impacts my art output. Generally I just power through the wrist pain drawing causes me when my joint pain is acting up but it's something I definitely shouldn't do lol. This also inevitably impacts my commission speed. I also suffer from what my cardiologist described as "a symptom of POTS," that single symptom being elevated heart rate. I am medicated for it but I still have a tendency to start feeling sick easily.

I currently draw using a Huion Kamvas Pro 13 and Clip Studio Paint EX!

BOUNDARIES

I do not have a DNI. I will just block you if you make me uncomfortable. However, I, like anyone else, have boundaries.

• I will block pedophiles, zoophiles, transphobes, Trump supporters, etc on sight. I do not want you anywhere near my stuff.
• I don't care what you write/draw in your spare time as long as it's legal. I don't think the things people read, write, or draw are inherently indicators of character. If something bothers me too much, I will simply ignore it, or block it depending on the situation.
• I have photosensitive epilepsy. Anything that flashes on this site is something that won't trigger seizures for me; this does not give you permission to send me anything that flashes.
• I am not open to discussion about religion. Please don't bring it up in conversations with me. The same goes for politics.
• You're free to ask me about any of my interests, but don't treat me like an expert. I've occasionally been treated like a zoology expert and it's weird to me. I'm not a professional, just a nerd who researches animals and medical stuff in my spare time.
